Climate-Controlled Seats

Are they ventilated or air-conditioned? I'm asking because this feature barely works in my car. I hear a sound of some fan inside a seat, but I almost don't feel any cooling.

No cooling, just circulation.

Thanks. I've just found that there's another thread about the same thing:

It seems we can do some coding to change power of fans in the seat.

"BTW - It lowered the temperature by 15 degrees, once it was coded. I also have this feature on my E60 M5, but that feature was not enabled on the coding and because of this, I never use the cooling feature on my M5 seats. The difference is night and day."

You can kinda sorta feel something if you are already a bit sweaty when you sit down and the fans are on high. But I'll say the same about these that I said about my last Mercedes - if I had it already on high in the passenger seat when a passenger got in, I doubt anybody would say "what's that?" They would not notice.

Anyone on here do the coding for the seats? The link to the other post is 7 years old.

I’ve noticed they do help when your sweating it’s cool level is at a normal to minimum where even passenger can’t really notice much tbh . One thing I’ve noticed since dealing with Colton heated weather (95-100 degrees ) the seat gets warmer I’m assuming due to the small motors heating up on both seats especially. The Seat I’m referring too is the back portion for the back the upper side that is , the bottom butt rest part cools/ventilates as normal as it should but due to the hot weather here I’ve noticed the back portion warms up a bit .
