Problem - appreciate your support

Lately, I have noticed that my car feels a bit sluggish and slow so I did a datalog and it was perfectly fine but when I logged the secondary DME I noticed the targeted boost isn't achieved and I am short by 2 PSI.

Below are logs for Primary & Secondary DMEs'

Primary (passenger side): https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5f52...0b4322c6982a03
Secondary (Drivers side): https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5f52...90c66a37a890ed

I replaced my charge pipes & the couplings, yet I'm still short 2 PSI.

I'm by no means an expert here but I would say you are running extremely lean. Most of my datalogs under load show AFR in the 12's. max I hit is around 15. Your is reaching 19.11. 17 is considered to be catastrophic/dangerously high.

Thank you for your input, in fact I am a bit richer. 19.11 is normal for BMW if you are not under WOT or between shift or not pressing the paddle.

Right now I am suspecting either the boost solenoid or the vacuum line from the turbo to the boost solenoid.

Yeah the AFR during WOT is fine as it hovers around 12.5. A couple things really jump out and those are:
  • Mass air flow HFM readings seem to be really erratic.
  • You have a pretty pronounced dip in relative Air filling around the same area that the Mass air flow goes crazy.

Not sure what is causing that but whatever it is likely causes the boost to fall below target as well.
I wonder if your issue is a dirty/faulty MAF. Does the car have aftermarket filters as I know the oil types can cause issues with the MAFs.

This log is from my car although it's the stage 1 93 OTS it should give you a reference point to help look for odd patterns in your own.

I suggested a MAF issue due to the odd readings and the fact it's easy to try cleaning them but I wouldn't go out a spend a ton of money on new MAFs without being sure it's actually those causing the fault.
Do you have any independent BMW specialists you could take it to so they can run proper diagnostics on it?

You could also try sending the logs to protuningfreaks as it's their OTS tune and they may have seen this sort of thing before.

Will test the wastegate ability to close later tomorrow and I decided to change boost solenoids and MAFs as precaution. Meanwhile I will do a log and share it with PTF team. Thanx Airz

Maybe check your vacuum lines at the rear exhaust? My car felt like crap for the past week after installing a new exhaust, went to go check the vacuums and they were not capped. Car felt very sluggish/slow, all better now.

I blocked these on when I did the muffler delete, rechecked them a few days ago and all is perfect.

I believe that you might be right, cleaned air filters and swapped the sensors. Boost reach 21 ish, HFM lb/min is much better now was able to reach 35 lb/min (previously max is 32 lb/min), my new flow sensor and boost solenoids will arrive tom. The wastegate is still high compared to bank 1

Finally got an update from BM3, they say its normal for the slave DME to do that. and the sluggish might be due to the high ambient temps in my country.
