MAF Sensor Location

All

I’m getting a check engine light for the MAF sensor. I guess I’ll try cleaning it first. Does anyone have any info on where it is and the best way to disconnect/reconnect and clean? I have a 2015 650i with the N63tu. I appreciate it.

Does the N63Tu have a MAF? I thought we had a HFM (Hot-film air mass meter).

If that’s what you’re looking for…see the info below:

The HFM is #3 in the diagram below and there are two of them…one on each side:

My code says P0100 Mass or Volume Air Flow Sensor “A” Circuit. So is this something I can try and clean or do I just need to buy a new one?
