Warm Up Process

I drive the GC 2-3x a week, basically all I was hoping to.

What does everyone for as far as a warm up? Keep the RPMs under 5 until warmed up? I dont even think I have had the oil temp get up to the middle of the scale.

I live in the city so drive like you would expect. Just making sure I am doing whats right to preserve the parts and performance.

Thanks

I would keep it under 3500. This type of driving will kill your battery.

There is no quicker way to warm up but to drive it.

So under 3500 until oil warms up? OK!

Yeah same here. I only let it idle for about 15 seconds before starting to drive. Keep the RPMs under the 2500-3500 mark until the needle warms up to the 100c mark.

You should see my driving habits with the CLS versus when my father takes it for a spin. Almost makes me want to cry...

Jep, start the car wait until the idle comes down and than drive below 35000rpm.
