MY 2014 650i Engine?

I was trying to purchase a Bootmod3 license transfer from FBMWWINS for the N63TU engine and PTF told me that my car had the N63. I was under the impression that the N63TU was introduced to the 6 series in 2013. My car was produced August of 2013 for the 2014 model year, so I would expect it to have the N63TU engine. We checked the VIN and it says it has the N63T, which is the same engine that it lists for FBMWWINS MY2017 650i. Is this me being mistaken or just ProTuningFreaks? Throughout this whole process FBMWWINS has been VERY helpful and I would like to extend a thanks to him right here. I hope this is just a mistake on PTF side but maybe I am mistaken.

Hey C,

The TU version was released towards the end of 2013. As per your VIN you have the non TU model.

Status on this support ticket has been changed to Waiting for customer.

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us. It looks like we do have support for the car, might have been a miscommunication.

So hopefully their Sales people get it too now and are finally ready and able to transfer the license!

All good now they confirmed it's compatible:

"Hey,
I am very sorry about the confusion. I double-checked the VIN of the buyer and it was coming up as 2013. I did not realize that the model was 2014. Either way, glad that you and Serge got it figured out.
The transfer has been completed as per your request."

Kind regards
