I'm running 20" M5 343 wheels fronts are 9" with an ET34 and the rears are 10" with a an ET34. I've got 255/35's on the front and 285/30's on the rears. Some people are running 295's on the rear, but I don't like the tire sticking out past the edge of the fenders.
From my understanding, M6 spec'd wheels will only fit on M6's, so that killed getting a set of 433's.....and don't worry I removed the 6 from the front right grill - no longer a poser.

Thanks Chili Palmer and MSport650Eye, i have an old set of Avant Garde 20 " 8.5 ET30 and 10 ET 38 and was thinking to try them see how they look, since i never used them on my previous cars, but if they don't work i was thinking on getting Vorsteriner VFF-103 with not too aggressive offset

M310 ( i know maybe not the best looking wheel for 6 series , but if they are ok i might used them for winter tires )

Just here to co-sign on what the previous posts suggested. I went 20x10 et 37 in rear and 20x9 et 27 in front, stock RFT tires. I'm on H&R springs. I think I could have gone slightly more aggressive in the rear (about 3-5mm) like the posters above have gone.

Most people seem to be quite happy with 255/35 and 285/30 on M5 wheels and I think they look great on the 640i and 650i. I don't think I've seen the 19" wheels or the 601m wheels on a 640i or 650i, they might really work well - does anyone have a pic? |

All I know is that that the fronts fit (barely) there's maybe a couple of fractions of millimeters clearance between the back of the wheel and the brake calipers and 255's fit just fine with no rubbing.

Your car still looks DAMN good I think with the 10 inch rear a offset closer to 25-28 would make up that difference but on a 10.5 37-38 is a good look.
