Auto dimming rear view mirror fuse
Which fuse is it? 8 or 32? My rear view mirror is not dimming, I don't think it ever did. Hoping it's the fuse.

The interior rear view electrochromic mirror appears to be under the control of Fuse 48. Check this link to the wiring diagram...you can click on the embedded links in the diagram to get more information: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...301/1VnZ3m3TIz
If you go to the wiring diagram at the above link...click on A60 next to the text that says electrochromic interior rear view mirror...it will give you more information. {F48 - is in the glovebox in the left row...see F43 - F48 in pic below}

Uh oh...sound like you're not in the US market (the use of the word "mate" )
Just for verification (to make sure the wiring isn't different)...click the link in the post above...then look for the "HOME" link at the top far left of the page. This will take you back where you can type in the last 7 digits of your VIN (which will make the site SPECIFIC to your BMW)...then type A60 in the search box (that will be visible). This will pull up wiring diagrams/documents links specific to your model & market. Check to see if the diagram is the same and that Fuse 48 is powering your interior rear view mirror. Good luck.

If that still doesn't help with the tight spot of the front fuses...perhaps needled-nose pliars might work...or the last resort...look for an acquaintance that has very small hands. The tweezers are the "gray blob" circled in the 1st illustration below...and the reddish-orange tool right below the encircled 3 in the 2nd illustration below:
