Headlight condensation - pre-purchase question/ warranty replacement?
Hi all,
I paid a deposit for a 640d gc today at Cotswold BMW, 64reg, but after a test drive I realized both headlight are heavily clouded due to condensation. I pointed this to the sales guy but I was told "it's normal" and they are allowed to "steam up"... I am not a specialist but to me it's a load of ****. I am due to collect the car on friday but I am afraid that when I get there, the headlights wont be fixed and i will have the same issue the moment I get some rain or go to a car wash. What is your experience with such issue? Should I demand the dealer to replace the headlights before the sale or wait and replace them under warranty? I have to say, things like this and an advice of "it's normal" puts me right off the purchase. Thanks, Art |

check vehicle history. May well have had front end damage and the lights were not replaced. Moister in the lights is NOT normal. CAUTION
