Up for sale is my 2014 BMW M6 GranCoupe in rare Moonstone Metallic color. Car is stock in like new condition with only 39,950 miles. Its not my daily driver, so the miles will not go up by much. Car has been serviced regularly and has no known issues. Paint correction and ceramic coating done last summer. Always hand washed. Paint shines like a new car. Non-smoker & no pets inside the car. Interior and exterior are a 9.5/10. Packages/Options: Extended Leather, 20" wheels, Executive Package & Driver Assistance Package Hate to sell it but bought another vehicle that is a little more kid friendly. No accident history. Clean title. Text/call with any questions you might have. Four 1 seven 3 eight eight 5 four four four. |

Just a friendly heads-up, I think you'll be surprised at what they offer you. Wholesale is $36k for your car, and that is not taking into account COVID. No one is buying elective cars right now. I would predict $32-35k from CarMax. A couple higher mileage M6 GCs wholesaled for mid 20's a couple weeks ago.

Remember, a smart dealer will always be under Manheim as they need to leave margin in case the car has to go to auction. When it does do to auction, the price will be lower than the current Manheim. Also remember, when it goes to auction they have to pay auction fees plus whatever prep they have to do to the car. They may have to put $1,000 in fees and maintenance into a car that's actually in pretty good condition. Also, this year is going to be awful for these elective cars. Discretionary spending across the world has dropped to virtually zero according to all published data. Literally nobody's buying elective cars right now. I would not be surprised if there are dealers who will flat-out refuse to buy the car or give at least 20% below Manheim right now. They are simply not interested in cars that don't move quickly. 6 series don't move quickly even though they are the most beautiful mass produced daily driver on the road right now. |

to add to this i almost bought an alpina - i habe access for manheim n i see he bought it for $30k flat
then buddy told me $750 auction fee the seller showed me $700 tire receipts $600 to fix curb rash so he's i to the car for $32 & agreed to sell it $26k — fair enough but i got 650 i need to sell or trade - with full year left on maintenance warranty (u til aug 29 or 125k miles) / 650x gc the lowest priced in country online is $23,900 manhein low is $23,000 he offered $20k i have no doubt i can see at $28-29k n give someone a great price even though i owe $32k — so i'd be willing to take a hit - but a 12k hit is insane one of my buddy's is a dealer n said $39k is insulting the dealer said he ll ask around what others are paying but that's dumb bc i then ask around what more msnheim is going for !! he said he'd like my car for $26-27k probably with dealers is they want to kill you on both ends the buy n the sale if u want i'll post manheim #s for 2014 m6 but don't want to if y prefer me not to - bc dealers will offer $3-4k BElow manhein regardless for "repsirs@ i'm a mortgage broker n we get bad raps but used car dealers take the cake by far on this —- not 1 car on manheim or country lower than $23,900 & that one had 109k miles with 0 warranty — so i'm going to try n sell on my own [IMG][/IMG]to me this $102k sticker car doesn't seem like a $20k car now — off well i really shouldn't be surprised! ps- need cars full vin to apply for financing for you car i tried last night n texted you as well thanks ps- sorry typo it's still early n screw spell check

LOL for the typos...had a tough time understanding half your post! I have full access to Manheim and know the numbers well (I own multiple 6's and have followed these cars, and others, for years and years). I know it stinks trying to sell 6's, but the numbers have never really been in favor for the seller. I don't think you're getting "screwed", it's just the market.
Anyway, it's best to have this discussion on another thread. OP, free bump and GLWS! |
