Socket size to remove front brake pad bolt?

I'm trying to change out my front brake pads on my 2012 F12, but can't figure for the life of me what size allen socket to use to remove the caliper guiding bolts? Anyone know?

BMW Part No. 34116776934, Guiding bolt

Normally it should be a 7 or 8mm Allen key. Get high Qualität otherwise you will damage the inside key.

I tried 6, 7, 8, and 10mm. 10mm was too big, all others too small. I don't get it!

9mm is an unusual size.
