IDrive Software update?
I checked the software versions, and I'm currently on:
Media: MN-003.011.002 Telephone: TN-003.011.002 When I go on www.bmw.com/update, the current version shows as "UPD05074" What's strange is that the readme file for that update refers to these two as being the previous versions: MN-002.255.071 TN-002.255.070 This makes me think that my software is more current than what BMW has on the website? Should I not update? I'm afraid I will take a step back if I do. |

It won't allow you to update anyway. I noticed the same thing with my car, and when I tried to update, I had a message on iDrive saying that the software on my USB device was not recognised/no update found. I'm not sure why the website isn't updated with the latest software versions.
