Slid In rain
On my way home from work today I got caught in a sudden downpour. I hydroplaned and hit the divider, did a 360 and landed on the grass.
First accident ever in over 30 years of driving. So I’m a little bummed. But I was able to walk away without a scratch. And there was no damage to any other vehicle. So I’m happy about that. |

at least you didn't get hurt! This is why we buy insurance. Shit can be replaced, but a personal injury can last a lifetime!
My coworker just got in a minor car accident. Except his head hit the side window. He's been suffering symptoms of concussion for about 2 weeks now. He cannot concentrate at work, he can barely even muster the mental concentration to drive to work.

Thanks everyone I’m fine. No injuries to report.
Nah no 8’er...Actually no more big coupes\sedans for me if this can’t be fixed. I miss the M3 I had everyday. So maybe an M4 in purple silk or fire orange. But I’ll wait and see. On a different note I’ve been driving my E70 X5. And it’s amazing how good the the hydraulic steering feels. And with the 285 in the front and the 315 tire in the back. It’s a nice ride. |

Rush hour on the PA turnpike and I didn’t hit anyone and no one hit me. I feel very blessed. And you’re right, cars can be replaced. |

Glad you are OK , can I ask what tires you were on and how much tread was left on them ? Hope you get your car repaired , in the UK it would be a easy fix but obviously expensive but it looks like the air bags did not deploy ?

Red30xdrive...The tires was conti Dws 06. And I had them on the car for about 3 to 4 months. So I had plenty of thread left. You’re correct, the airbag did not deploy.
And it’s already fixed. I’m just waiting for the bumpers to be painted and reinstalled. |

First off - glad you walked away from it without injury. Are you at all concerned about the tires? I'm asking as I just put those on my 650ix. Thanks and glad the repairs are almost done.

I also had the DW on my 427 corvette and my E46 M3. I’ve never had a problem with them. In fact those are the only tires I buy. It was a major downpour, road was a little flooded and well...you know the rest. I don’t blame the car or the tires. I blame myself. So buy them with confidence man and enjoy them. |
