Changing CCB Rear Pads Only
I got a quote for labor only to change my ceramic pads on the M6. The dealer wants $400.
Anyone know if that's truly what the rate is? I don't mind paying it if it is, but the ceramic pads were only $320. |

You can make $400 an hour doing it yourself or buy a buddy a six pack and watch him do it.... It is not a hard job. Have a look on Youtube and you will see.

It is super simple. Like @arucano said hit up youtube, get your tools, pads and save yourself a few hundred dollars. IIRC the back left brake has the parking brake and you'll need a wind back tool but I think you can do it with an app called carly.

Bimmerlink can wind out the emergency brake motor as well now. If you want you can even wind it out manually. Procedure also available on the Tube.
