Really? I am not sure if that's totally accurate (subjectively speaking). The Michelin's Pilot Sport A/S 4 that I just put on mine are absolutely amazing! Night and day difference from any run-flat to be honest.

The reason why I didn't get the summer sport tires is because they burn up way too quickly in the winter under 45 degrees F. Even though I live in California, here in NorCal it does drop to 30 at night during the winter and early spring. And I'd hate to replace them so soon, or have to switch to winter tires (which is generally unnecessary in most parts of the state).
