Sedan_Clan doesn't want to stay local with such a car - what he wants (or should do at least) is drive all the way up to Ontario to give me a ride.

I'm not asking much. After all, such a car would be a pretty pleasant way to pass the driving time to here.
Is Canada even allowing Americans on their soil right now?

Yeah, I'm right next to Ontario... Ontario, California that is. I'll take him to In-N-Out for lunch. Double-Doubles, Animal Style. My treat. We'll send you some pics.
You're right in my hood. I'm in Rancho by Victoria Gardens.
Oh snap! I live in Alta Loma. We're neighbors!
Damn! Super close. Do you live near Chaffey College?

You betcha! We have been for a little while now actually. It is just America who wasn't reciprocating the favour, those lousy Americans.

Soo....when you coming up?
I need to plan a trip ASAP!

I was on a different forum and saw someone lose their marbles at someone else for screwing them over and they called the guy a "low slung dingo".

I gotta admit - I'm still laughing over this terminology. I just really appreciate the creative ways people use the English language without resorting to profanity.

But I have to ask - is this a common insult in Australia though I wonder, given the dingo reference?

I spent $163 at Target and had to double check the receipt because I was shocked. I hate when you're running low on laundry detergent, razor blades, etc all at the same time. I felt like I was leaving Whole Foods with a bill that high and so few bags.

I'm tired. I think I might get a coke icee.

Never heard that one and I am from the outer suburbs of sydney so people like to use their local sayings. "Low slung" sounds odd, like it's not something we would say. Too classy.

The damn razors add up. It's almost $20 for a Gilette 16-razor head replacement pack.

I use an electric razor myself. Not as close but quick and easy and I could do it with my eyes closed if I wanted.

Had a beard most of my life but was a pain to keep it trimmed and I am a perfectionist. This is so much easier. I like easy.

Razors, and detergent are 2 huge pet peeves for being expensive. Anytime I see them on the list I cringe

I know, right? Something tells me the CEOs of companies like Bic and Gillette are raking it in!

Just do this for razors. Blades are better and cheaper IMO.

Single safety blade is best for shaving but then you need to get into all the lather and brushes and shit so it becomes more of a pain. The mail order blades business has gotten so good and convenient I know Gillette now offers plans as well.

Above is my go-to. Provides almost a clean shaven look. Although I probable go through a 2-pack every 4 months rather than the 6month 2-blade package subscription that they offer. Regardless I love the product.

Yeah there's so many now and these are US specific. I know there's different companies for the Uk and whatnot. But much better options than paying the ridic prices at grocery / drugstore for Gillette et all.

I would switch to just single safety blade and be done with it but manscaping is a bit less worrisome with traditional blades and razors lol

I don’t understand why anyone would use anything but electric. I use a Braun wet dry electric shaver. I use it wet with a little hair conditioner and it gets such a close shave, you can look in the mirror and you can’t tell the difference between that and a disposable razor. And, I can go a good 5 years without having to buy a new head. So, I get 5 years of shaving for about $150.

They don't work for those of us who shave our heads and want a smooth, clean shave. Only a razor can accomplish that, especially when it comes to coarse hair. Trust me, I've tried nearly every one that claimed to be able to produce a razor-like shave.

Period. No electric razor will ever get as close a shave as blades. I use electric if I'm not doing anything worthwhile, blades if it is.

Also. Can't use electric for my balls.

Agree they don't give you a razor-like shave. The one I have is a Remington and I've had it for over 10 years and just change the blades and screen every year and it works fine for me. The thing's like the energizer bunny - just keeps going.

Also, I don't shave my head so don't particularly care about that kind of closeness. If I did I'm sure I'd use a regular razor and not an electric one.
