Sorry, another tire thread...

I have a 2014 650i xdrive conv. and i put 2 rear run flat tires on the at the beginning of this year when one went flat and i had to replace both given i couldnt get the exact same tire... Emergency type of thing so i didnt have time to shop. So now i need new front tires, and i debating on putting the same ones as the back which would be about $1100 or just get 4 new non run flat Michelin pilot sport AS4 which would be about the same price. Ive read through all of the run flat threads and think i can get comfortable not having a spare and this is my daily driver so a nicer ride would be good too. I do have some heartburn throwing away 2 practically brand new tires, but i can get over it if this is a better long term solution
thoughts?

Go with the AS4s. That's exactly what I did.

absolutely go the Michelins, don't think about it for a second longer.... like a band aid... just rip it off and be done with it.
I've never looked back putting them on mine , the ride is transformed. bin those awful RFT. carry a can of foam and small inflation pump if you are worried.

cheers

Just came from the dealer last week and they wanted to replace both rears for the same price of $1180.

I went with Falken Azenis FK510 all (4) around for the same price

There's nothing wrong with putting non-RFTs on the front and leaving the almost-new RFTs on the rear. mismatched front/rear isn't a problem. Replace the rears with non-RFT when it's time, no need to spend extra now.

So, the tires i ordered from costco, Michelin PILOT SPORT AS4 275/30ZR20 97Y XL BSW UHP ALL SEASON TIRE, seem to be on backorder and there not giving me a delivery date so anyone have any recommendation on similar tires? Would prefer Michelin, but would consider another brand if i can start driving my car again...
