Made a few bucks selling my MGM puts this morning. I thought for sure they were money down the drain since MGM shot up after their last earnings call, but the recent selloff pulled the price under my strike price just in time.

I also have a few deep in the money calls for IntraLinks. A few weeks back they released additional public stock in the same week as their biggest customer accounting for 10% of their business cancelled their contract. The mass selloff happened right before earnings and the stock fell about 35%. I'm hoping it'll climb back up near it's previous price before the calls expire.

RIMM is pretty Fuc*ed today. Taking a major bloodbath today. Down around 20-22% today trying to find new ground.

I wanted to short it couple months ago.

As a BB user that was a no brainer.

Wow. I just checked out GOOG's share price. $485???? Wow. It was $518 last week or something. Four months ago it was $630. I'm thinking calls for around $500 that expire in August seem attractive and fairly low risk. If the markets fix up a bit GOOG will shoot up, as will AAPL which is $320.

Trading Of Over The Counter Gold And Silver To Be Illegal Beginning July 15

Quote:
One small step toward Executive Order 6102 part 2, and one giant leap for corruptcongressmankind. "We wanted to make you aware of some upcoming changes to FOREX.com’s product offering. As a result of the Dodd-Frank Act enacted by US Congress, a new regulation prohibiting US residents from trading over the counter precious metals, including gold and silver, will go into effect on Friday, July 15, 2011.

In conjunction with this new regulation, FOREX.com must discontinue metals trading for US residents on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the close of trading at 5pm ET. As a result, all open metals positions must be closed by July 15, 2011 at 5pm ET. We encourage you to wind down your trading activity in these products over the next month in anticipation of the new rule, as any open XAU or XAG positions that remain open prior to July 15, 2011 at approximately 5:00 pm ET will be automatically liquidated."

Pandora is destined to fail. $36/month for subscription? Crazy. Google Music is around the corner and will likely be free.

At least Sirius has the benefit of ultimate portability and with 2.0 we should see the ability to store content.

RIMM is down like 25% in recent weeks. Would it be a good time to buy? Maybe in a week. GOOG looks attractive and SIRI seems to have a support at $1.90.

I wouldn't buy RIMM - seems like a sinking ship. I'm still long GOOG but at a loss currently. I'd be willing to add to it if it upswings, or it'll trigger stop loss if it goes down too much from here...

Pandora is free for the first 40hrs per month. After that it's $1.00 for the remainder of the month, or $36.00 per YEAR

AMD under $7 is a good buy. MCP under $50 is also a good entry.

Did any of you mofo's go long 3-4 days ago when I told ya to!.....

Forget about AAPL, CSCO, RIMM, P...you just need to get the general mkt right...

IMHO, this thread is worthless unless you have charts to support your theory of selling or buying...anything else is just throwing darts.
