New 640D Convertible Owner

Just picked up a 2013 640D Convertible in the UK with 42,000 miles on it from a BMW dealer and the car is fantastic.

I have had BMW's before, a 316 35 years ago and a 535i about 15 years ago. Also had mys share of big Audi's, Volvo and a Porsche 911(996) S Convertible.

It is amazing how this car performs on top of decent fuel economy.

Me and the mrs are now having next weekend in Southampton so the car can go into DMS for remap.

This generation 6 really is a great all round motor. Amazing looks, interesting interior and great performance.

Keep us posted on how the DMS remap goes.

Car went in to DMS today.

Best run before remap was 315HP and 610Nm

After remap 409.5HP and 780Nm

Enjoy that! Just curious… is that with cat intact and how is your fuel mileage now vs before? Also, when do you feel the difference most (I realize that will be a reflection of your driving style)?
