thanks, I gave up the diamond finish for cost reasons, but I have the advantage that they have been completely covered with paint and therefore less subject to the aggression of the salt present on winter roads

Those look great! I was looking into winter tires for my 650i GC xDrive and for literally what the tires would have cost, I bought an entire second car LOL. Picked up a 1999 Lexus RX300 with 220,000 miles for $2,000. Now the F06 can stay nice and warm and clean in the garage all winter.

ha ha fantastic! also i remember often Lexus RX300 is a very reliable car. Except that in Italy having a second car costs you about $ 2000 in property tax :-(

What did I do...

I got this.
Waited a while for it, and to top it off when I was off I then had to urgently cover for a colleague so I couldn’t spend time with it. Let my Son spend some time with it. Took these pics when he visited with the boys in their car club. I’m told their reactions were special. I finally got to drive it once it was dark. Cornered better than I thought it would in Sport settings. The take off/acceleration is actually scary. More pics when I can.

I would pay $2,000 to never have the horror of driving a Lexus

Agreed! And I can take my German Shepherd around and not worry about his claws on the seats!

Today I dropped my 650 GC off to get the “popping” front seats fixed.

How much did that run you, I've heard everything from lubing the connections on the bottom and replacing the whole seat frame.

Not sure yet but it should be covered under CPO. I’m hoping they replace the whole seat frames.

Well I’m pissed. First the advisor called and said it wasn’t covered under CPO and I’d need to cover the ~$6,000 seat frames myself. I said that’s absolutely ridiculous and he said he’d call me back. Second call he said they’d cover 95% of it but since it was a “known issue with a TSB” it isn’t covered under CPO. I asked him then what the point of CPO is if it won’t even cover a known issue and he didn’t have a good answer for that. I’m waiting to hear back from the service manager. I have no idea why I specifically purchased a CPO car at a premium, when they turn around and say “since it has a TSB” on the issue, they won’t cover it.

Fitment was spot on...excellent for 100 bucks
Is your GC? Bc I think I got it from same seller but doesn't fit at all. I assume there is differences between GC and Coupe on trunk shape
