Any recommendations for blacked out badges?
I am looking to replace or blackout my Alpina B6 trunk badges.
I can’t seem to find any on the web....no “B6”. Anyone have any suggestions? |

I guess I can try it and see how it comes out. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can source black badges? |

Going to cerakote mine one of these days. It's a baked on gun coating that is pretty durable. Already removed my M6 trunk emblem - once I get the grills off, I'll do them all at once in gloss black.

If you contact IND-Distribution they will custom spray one for you.
The cheapest way is to just wrap it in gloss black vinyl. I did that with my M3 badge and it held up for years. In fact because you don't need that much material, you wouldn't need to buy a whole roll. I have some extra materials left over and I can mail you some for if you're willing to pay for shipping.

I use Bella badges (bella-beauty7) on ebay for my black badges but I've never seen a B6 badge on there-maybe she can source one for you ??

Flying Ace suggestion of reaching out to IND for a custom set would be your best bet if you want a permanent solution. You can also go to a body shop and have them paint your existing badges. IND essentially does the same thing with OEM badges

Can Cerakote some plastics, basically halve the temperature. Not sure what kind of plastic the badge is, but I have a spare, so going to give it a shot. Page 19: https://www.cerakote.com/resources/f...al%2042815.pdf Here's a guy cerakoting mx parts: |

Plasti-dip is not an option for me. I feel the finish is too rough and not high-quality enough for our cars.
I guess my options are to remove the badges and get them all painted at a local auto body shop, buy new badges and do the same or try IND. Does IND sell new badges? |
