NEW owner of F06 640i xdrive GC

[IMG][/IMG]Hello everybody i am new to this side of the forum i am coming from owning an n54 135i (09) for the last 7 years. I built that car to a beast everything you can imagine im
not going to name everything because the thread would be very long but now i decided that dailying my 135i was just to rough to harsh for everday ny use
so i went and bought a 2015 640i xdrive gran coupe.
I was only looking at certified models so i found a space gray example an hour away from me in bridgeport Ct.
The n54 135 community was very large and there was tons of info about all types of stuff but for the 640 doesnt see to be the same..
I dont want to mess with the car much for now i am probably going to tune it eventually down the road but for now i plan to stay stock has anybody tuned there 640 yet?
Well i will be lurking this forum for information just wanted to say whatsup and some photos of both my cars. My 135 used to have a 1m rep (reiger) setup but the bumper cracked from a sewer cap poking out so i decided to go oem 1m and i test fitted it myself and never painted it thus far then the 640 happend so im gonna garage the 1 up and set it up more aggressively for KILLS

Thanks guys it really is an amazing car and the interior is really a great place to be in. I plan on immediately blacking out a few parts ( the grills and side markers to black)I already went last night to brooklyn and had the car coded for a bunch of things then maybe i will look for a carbon fibre spoiler and diffuser paired with an m performance exhaust.
Does anyone have there n55 Mhd tuned? I have it for my n54 and its my tune of choice down the road but for now i really dont care to drive the 6 fast this car just begs to be cruised with and i wanna baby it anyway and just slowly get used to its dynamics and handling characteristics. This car came with the oem tires I believe the good years in 245's all around which are all season runflats I'm assuming since its xdrive they did that I would of imagined the msport should of had summer tires that are much wider than that but I will keep them on since its winter but i plan to equip it with 255 mich super sports all around. Does anybody know how wide of a wheel and tire width this car can handle?.

Oh you’ll want to drive it fast. I said the same thing when I got mine.
But a beautiful car and welcome to the club.

Congrats on the F06, nice color. What did it make you choose the 640i over the 650i?

honestly i have my 135i thats got 500 to the wheels and the other 2 main reasons are price and warranty.

When i pay good money for a bmw i want atleast 3 yrs peace of mind not having to put a dollar in it for repairs so i was only searching for CPO cars and for the 650 theres like nothing under 55k in my area.
I most definitley could have easily bought a 650 for what i paid 38k plus tax and 5.49%apr add in wheel warranty and an extra warranty on the car for 5yr 140k ended up at 46,500 out the door.

good car. Have mines custom tuned by Kevin Baldi. Made 501 @19psi. On e40. I would suggest changing out every single fuel injector and highly recoommend high pressure fuel pump/waterpump. Other than that your good.

that was just the first tune. Remember with these cars the hpfp is the bottleneck. Could make more but need the aftermarket hpfp.

something u dont see everyday

I put my apex arc 8 i had on my 135 on the 6 to see if they fit I know they are 18's and look pretty darn small but it aint that bad looking, and on the plus side it drives so much better than the stock 19 245 all around with runflat tires rathar than these apex with mich super sports which ride fantastic and smoother with more road noise though

Damn. I was hoping you did the tune. Wanted some feedback. I might just do it myself now and get it over with.
