20x10" rear M5 343m wheels on the front with 295/30r20 installed
Title pretty much says it all really. The tyres are my old rear ones that I replaced with Michelin 305/30r20 and the wheels are a cheap set of M5 343m wheels I bought. There is plenty of brake caliper clearance as well.
Long term I'll go with 275/35r20 or 285/35r20 with 325/25r21 at the rear but for the moment I just wanted to see what the max could be that I could fit. These are 20x10 34mm offset and the stock for an M6 is 20x9.5" 31mm so with the 30mm wider tyres the outer edge is at the location that I would be with a 12mm spacer and the inner edge is 18mm further in than normal. There is still plenty of room - you could probably run square 305/30r20 all round if you went a bit more aggressive on the offset. |

Its a pile of crap. Torque steers, plastic interior, slow gearbox etc. It feels a full generation back even though the F13 came out at about the same time.
You should have seen our work car park a few months ago, C63 Estate (my old car), A45 AMG hatch, F11 5 series, RS6, M135i. Literally no cars available in the states! Ohh and 3 of the staff have R33 skylines with one being a GT-R as weekend cars. |

2. The 20x10 ET 34 are just 3mm more out and 9mm further in. 3. You will run 285x35 R20 and 325x35R21. I don’t think this will work at all. But I like the idea of having 265/35R20 and 325/30x20 |

275/35r20 is definitely an option as well and it will make the speedo about 1kmh closer to real speed, obviously 285/35r20 is about 2kmh closer. I'd still actully be slightly under but more accurate than stock. 2. The edge of the wheel, yes. But remember I've got a 30mm wider tyre on there at the moment. So with the same offset it would be 15mm extra on either side but as the offset is 34mm instead of 31mm, I'm 18mm extra on the inside and 12mm extra on the outside. 3. 325/25r21, not 325/35r21. With 275/35r20 and 325/25r21 the rear is 0.7% shorter than the front with an outer diameter of 700mm and 695mm. 285/35r20 is going to look a bit too tall I think as it will be 708mm outer diameter. Note that the stock setup is 694mm and 686mm which isn't really perceptible but I think that 708mm and 695mm will be, especially with the shorter sidewall at the rear. |

Now I got you. You are (or want to) running
275/35x20 on 10x20” ET34 in front and 325/25x21 on 12x21” ET?? on the rear. What kind of rims are you looking for? This sounds very interesting. Keep going. |

I'm going to buy some 275/35r20 PS4S soon and will put them onto the 20x10 wheels. I'm not sure on the front offset that I'll run, I'm thinking that as I potentially will run 285 at some stage on the front that I might go for 25-30mm offset at the front. I'll never go for 295s at the front long term and in my mind while the current corner edge of the tyre is in exactly the right place. So if I'm running 275 or 285 long term I'll want a slightly lower offset. For the rears, I've found a few people are running about 20mm offset for that size rear tyre. A lot of the wheel manufacturers are weirdly secretive about offsets as they seem to think it is IP for their company. |
