Question Possible replacements for my Charger Hellcat?

Lease is up in June. As of now, I want to buy the car & keep it. However, A) life happens & a lot can change in a few months... B) I like to do my due diligence as ya never know what other cars you might fall in love with...

-It's my daily driver all year (Including winter) so if I'm paying big $ again, it will have to take over DD duties. Does not have to be 4 doors either.
-I know nothing else is going to be at this HP level so that's not a requirement. However, it has to be fast. That means I likely would not be happy with anything slower than mid 12s or so,
-If it's new, it will be lease only. It's extremely rare for me to keep cars long enough for it to make sense to buy new. That leads to the next point if new...HC lease is $679 per mo so same or less money. Zero down again as well.
-My search can include used cars, but at a max of the same price point as my HC buy price which is $44k.

Any ideas or suggestions on what cars I should consider?

I sold my leased Hellcat back to the dealer when used car prices hit recent highs. I am working from home for the foreseeable future, so it is hard to justify a bunch on another lease I will hardly drive. Still not sure what I am going to get yet, but I have a Bronco reservation and a Cybertruck reservation and may just go with one of those when my Tacoma lease runs out.

It would help to have more information about your usage and desires. You want fast but is that instant torque or highway passing or both? Do you care about MPG? Wil your neighbors complain if you start it up in the AM and its loud? What about interior? What about info system (if you care)? etc. What is your maximum cost (use purchase cost although you may be leasing but purchase price will make it easier to compare). The more information you give us about your desires and usage, the better we can assist you.

Agree with the above, your criteria seems to only be $679 a month lease and mid 12's and narrowing it down some would help. Add to the questions above, does handling matter at all or only straight line speed? Any manufacturer acceptable?

Hard to believe that a 2 door car, 4 door car, SUV, or pickup are all being considered.

You didn't read my post. I don't have interest in a TRX anyway. Why would I do that vs keep my HC?

It also says about $50k or less price tag & other things. Handling matters too.

Not interested in a BMW, Audi, etc out of warranty

I said it'll bemy daily just like the HC is. CLearly I don't care about MPG or people complaining, I DD a HC!!!

Must have at least good stereo, heated seats & leather. Still having cooled seats would be great too.

Again, same $ range as my buy $ so in the $50k area.

Guys, read the post lol

The post isnt really clear. You say "$50K area" but you're talking about the hellcat, which isnt in that range.

Does the 50K only apply to buying used? But you want to keep lease payments under $650ish

I was extremely clear. I did say my buy $ at end of lease is $44k so yes the HC is in that range. I also said I would wanna keep the new car lease around same &, if buying, it would be used only as I do not keep cars long enough to justify buying new...Have a good one!

My point is that a cheap HC lease is a tough car to replace.

Ok.. so how does your post disqualify the TRX? (I realize you are not interested in a TRX, but just curious as to how whatever you said disqualifies it).

Your post is far from clear, hence all the puzzled looks you're getting from literally every response.

Doesn't seem like you have many choices with your price and mid 12 sec requirements. I have no idea what the 1/4 miles times are on these or what they go for used, however off the top of my head they may be in the ballpark.

- Camaro SS or ZL1
- Mustang GT or Shelby
- CTSV/ATSV
- Corvette C6 Z06 or none Z06 C7

Or accept defeat get a used Model 3 dual motor or performance and bow to master Elon.

Used F8X Competition. Mid 12's 1/4 mile and unlike the Hellcat you can actually be fast turning the wheel too. Comes in a 4 door, but sounds like garbage compared to your hellcat unless you drop a few Gs on a decent exhaust, then it sounds slightly better than garbage.
