Trunk bmw emblem folds while driving?

So this morning I was driving and my friend ended up being on the same road as me and called me during driving to tell me when I'm
Stopped the emblem is flat but when I start driving it folds halfway (like the camera is on)....that doesn't seem normal, anyone know about why this would happen?

I got my wife to drive the car as I followed behind and the emblem would randomly fold down like 25% of the 10 minute drive we did...very strange
