As far as I see #107 images
It doesn't seem to go through the clip in the red part.
The mirror cover is attached by passing two clips from top to bottom.

That part is good. The edge (where it is sticking out in the first photo) does not have anything to grab onto/fall into though...

Got another pair (this time from eBay). Seller listed f12 and f13, but not f06. Verified that it would fit my f06. And sure enough, it worked :-)
