Some low key mods

I recently bought this 2016 M6 Vert. It's such a stunning car but I made a few tweaks. Carbon fiber sides markers / Black M badge / Body colored reflector inserts.

Looks great. The darker accents work well with your black wheels. Maybe change up the exhaust tips or mufflers next to get rid of the last bit of chrome??

I bought these from my BMW dealer who installed them along with the other items.....well they looked ridiculous! I took them off and plan to get my money back. I ordered OEM tips from Ind-Distribution that are powdered coated Gloss Black. Should have them soon.

They appear to be sitting too far out. Did you install on the standard stainless exhaust? They look awesome with the m performance akrapovic exhaust.

Those wouldn't work on our stock exhaust due to the shape of the exhaust pipe. You can't push the tips far back enough so it doesn't stick out.

Something like this would most likely work better. 120MM length, won't stick out as much.

Didn't know you wanted stock tips in gloss black. Have mine for sale

They are easy. The inside has 3 gripping clips. You just slide them on the exhaust tips and they secure themselves on the OD of the pipe. You can just twist them right off by hand and put them back on by hand.

Wouldn't mind changing mine, but no amount of pulling and twisting will shift them. I guess having neary four years of road crud thrown at them has 'welded' them onto the pipes...

Your dealer should have known and agree they dont look right. They DO work on the OEM M Performance exhaust where they sit further back...

What exhaust tips are you going to get now? I have the chrome ones on my car and wanted to get black or carbon fiber. I'm just unsure where to buy them to make sure they fit. They seem pretty easy to take off and put back on. I just tried and the tips just come off with a little tug.

I'm looking at getting some that I saw on eBay. They give the measurements. They have to be 120mm long or they will stick out to far. I found these carbon fiber tips which I just ordered.
