EV Retrofit

Looking forward, everything is going Electric.

It would be nice to be able to retrofit a 6 Series with an Electric Motor.

After all, it's a great car, well built, lots of room for batteries, and most owners have the desire and resources to pay for the project.

I am hoping that several companies will come forward with a Package to accomplish an EV Retrofit at a reasonable price. I want to keep my 6, i know the limitations of the IC engine, and I don't want a Tesla.

IMHO, the 6 series is the greatest BMW ever built, and I am hoping someone will step up.

You want to retrofit a 2006 car that is worth about $20k with a mod that would cost easily upwards of $50k? But mostly I focused on "lots of room for batteries." Where - the entire trunk? The center armrest maybe?
