Value of 2016 650i convertible
I have been thinking of selling both my 650i and my 2007 911 to buy on newer 911 (don't have garage space for 2, and I hate paying extra insurance.
Carvana offered me 25k for my car which I think is way too low. Blackbook lite seems too high. Car is Black over Vermillion red, 40k miles, 9 exterior, 8 interior. I added mmi, m performance steering wheel. 35-37k?

I tend to peruse cars like my own for sale now and then just too see how the value is holding - or not. Mine is a 2015 and although Blue Book is still in the low 40s, it is rare that anybody actually asks that much, although the asking prices in all years seem to vary widely. Mine also has 40k miles, and if I were selling it I'd probably realistically try for about $38k, and mine has two super-rare options - adaptive drive and night vision. The buyer pool for these cars is very tiny, and they can sit unsold for a very long time - many months sometimes. It just sort of depends on how badly you want get rid of it and whether you are willing to price it attractively. I'm not sure what you mean by mmi. If I were a buyer I'd also want to know what caused you to rate your interior an 8.

MMI is an Audi term. Not sure what you mean here as iDrive is standard as is navigation.
You hit the nail on the head, trade in is 35-37k depending on the dealer, your options, condition, dealer motivation, etc. If it was in Illinois and being November, trade in would maybe even lower. Being South FL, November is probably less of an issue so the 35-37k is reasonable for a trade. |

MMI is the add-on that enables android auto and apple carplay.
https://www.bimmer-tech.net/category...y-mmi-retrofit The interior has some wear on the left door arm rest, a few small dings in the door entry sill cover and a little ding in the center console lock. Steering wheel was toast so I replaced.

Not bad, especially considering that there seems to be some wear and tear on the car. And given that most of the country is not looking for a convertible, dealership may end up sitting on it for a little bit. I really don't think you'll be able to squeak out more than 35k based on what you presented. I don't know about you but it's not worth more than a couple hours of time for me to look around for $1,000 more..especially if you're trading it in to the dealership for another car.

One take home message from this thread is that Carvana sucks for sellers! I was helping someone sell their car that is worth about $7,000 retail. Carvana offered $100.

I decided that the trade wasn't what I wanted.

So what's the plan... keep the 6 and sell the 911.
Plan is only to keep both or sell both. My 911 want is very limited, must be a special car, color, manual, cab, etc. My dream is a 2011-2012 speed yellow exterior, black interior, six speed gts or turbo. Not sure I want to go 991. Most 911s are pdks. I have had dct Ms for the last 8 years or so, and while I like them (M3, M4, M6) I just prefer a manual (at least for now). I am also cheap, don't want to spend more than 80k. Otherwise there are plenty of 100k plus 911s to look at. Searching entertains me.
