Door Trim Stained after Tint

Just got my new 640 GC tinted. The next day I noticed what appears to be water stains on my trim. I tried to remove it with various cleaner products with no hope. I took it back to the tint place, they can't seem to figure it out either. Does anyone have any insights??

looks like water has reacted with something already on the door or glue from tints, either way i would be holding the company who did it responsible

I have never applied tint or even seen it applied, but the tint shop has to know what liquid they use during the process. If it is applied anything like clear bra, then it involves baby shampoo and alcohol. That may dissolve some of the adhesive. In any event, it is clear that a large amount of liquid had dripped down your panels and that it is not simply water. I'm not sure if 640 door panels are the same as 650 panels on top. I can tell from your pic that the panels are not the same in the lower part - that's vinyl. But the top part looks the same. If so, it's what BMW calls leather, but it's not leather straight from a cow, it's some sort of manufactured processed leather, sort of in the same way particle board is wood. But it's fairly delicate, and will not take a lot of scrubbing w/o damaging the surface. So if it is that product, I don't think that will ever come off w/o damage. If it's vinyl, you can try some more aggressive methods. But you need to put it on them. I think they may owe you new door panels.

Have you tried a leather cleaner? Then follow up with leather conditioner.
