Oil leak around sump plug? 640 N55

Noticed oil platter around the sump plug when I took the cover off to replace downpipe today - check sump plug but on tight, any idea where the oil would be leaking from? Must be minimal as level hasn't dropped yet. 640i N55

I'd start with the oil filter housing gasket(s). Super common area for oil leaks over time with the N55 engine. Do a quick google search, ton's of information out there about it.

If it's on the drain plug, it's most likely running down from the oil pan(sump) gasket. Oil filter housing gasket would only drip onto the pulleys and serpentine belt on the front.

Valve cover gaskets leak down back of the motor.
