Replacing CIC cable to Display Monitor
has anyone ever seen a DIY that shows how to replace the video output cable to the display monitor from the CIC?

Before scouring the internet for a replacement DIY...have you run that part number through one of the online part database sites to see if that part is used in your car?
If not, go to the following link, type in the last 7 digits of your VIN, then paste the part number you gave us into the part number (cross-reference) box to see if that part is used on the f06/f12/f13 6 series: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select

i did a full nbt evo retrofit into the car. to change the cable is not bad. it feels like your gunna break the monitor though....or at least mine did, comes out fine, just requires a lot of force to remove the screen imo.
why are you replacing the cic monitor cable. mind you there are 2 cables connected to the back of the cic monitor, one is power and the other is video signal. nbt integrates them into one cable. |
