Hello all - newly registered former lurker here.

First off, I want to say I am a huge fan of the community here and have learned so much from the aforementioned lurking. You guys are all very passionate and knowledgeable, and you have beautiful cars. So thank you for the community and forum that you have built. And for all the free car pr0n.

Which brings me to the main reason for my post, which is to say that I'm happy to now count myself among you

I actually baby stepped into it. In April I purchased a F06 650i xDrive which was already a nice step up from the E90 328xi that I've had for a few years. However in August that car got caught on a low lying street in Brooklyn during a storm surge (the storm before Ida). The engine was flooded and Geico totaled. They ended up paying me more than I paid for it back in April (crazy crazy auto market).

And after a lot of deliberation and a lengthy process with Gieco, decided to upgrade a bit more

to a F06 M6 CP in Silverstone, inside and out.

I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It was fully optioned other than night vision (and individual), and it also has an IPE exhaust which is a lot of fun to open up. As with all of you, I love the 6 series, esp the GC, and think about it as a no compromise car (case in point: I keep an infant car seat base in one of the back seats, and I've seen that others on the forum have car seats back there too

). Can't wait to put some serious miles into this beast.

I need to get the car cleaned up but here's a picture:

I’m not 100% for sure but it looks like KHOLEN front lip from RW Carbon. He just has the rubber protective guard underneath it that’s why it looks slightly different.

Not sure about the lip as it came with the car.. but it does look like the RW Carbon lip as Karter stated.

Also there's a "ez-lip" protector attached under it.
