'650 i' badge location on trunk

I will be replacing the slightly tarnished '650 i' badge with one I just picked up from the dealer.

Would anyone know the correct position of this badge so I can place it properly on the right side of the trunk lid (maybe a starting position from one corner and the distance between each digit)?

Thanks

The correct method is to place blue "painter's tape" around the existing emblem (hopefully it is still there). Then remove the old emblem and place the new one, using the tape as your guideline. Also there will likely be a dirt/glue outline of the old emblem.

Also of note, the best way to remove the old emblem is by heating it up (a hair blow dryer works), then using fishing line or dental floss to slide under each number to remove them away from the surface. You may need goo gone or compound to remove the glue residue before replacing with new emblem.

Thanks for the replies. I had removed it a few months ago (along with the x-drive badge) but it looks a little empty so I want to put the '650 i' badge back on.
