In today's installment, our little friend is focusing on some droids. Not sure if they're the ones he's looking for.

Camera is a Hasselblad 1600f and that's a MIR 3 65mm f3.5 in front. Crazy Russian glass. That's a late style hood from a 503CXi, and it just slides right on. I love this system, though the Zeiss glass from the V series isn't compatible (screw mount before they went to leaf shutters in the lenses).

We're not really sure where Smokey (our backyard stray of over 10 years) runs off to and takes shelter during bad weather, but there he was this afternoon, drying out on one of the pool chairs.

We have several semi-ferals at our house. We have 6 kitty shelters with heated pads in them plus two heated pads in the shed, which has a kitty door. Lately a bunch of barn cats from the horse stable down behind our property have made their way up to our house to hang out and pester the birds and squirrels and eat free food. A few were taking advantage of our extra shelters (we have 3 permanent tenants) until we got 4" of show a couple days ago. We haven't seen the barn cats since just after the snow. We're thinking they all decided the barn was better when there is snow on the ground.
