Stock Wheel Model # and Pricing Help
I recently cracked one of my stock wheels and BMW is charging $1200 to replace it. Does this sound right to anyone? Is there a way to figure out the part number to shop other dealers with; or a standard price list?

Go to one of the online part database sites…and enter the last 7 digits of your VIN (or select accordingly to the model you have etc). Go the the WHEEL diagrams and you’ll see all of the wheels BMW offered for your model. It will also list their official 11 digit BMW part number (and other wheel specs). With the 11 digit BMW part number…you can simply type “BMW xx xx x xxx xxx” (where x=the actual part nbrs) into a google/internet search box and get results of vendors/sellers of that part number.
Do take note that the 351 wheel style comes in staggered set-ups…so if you do NOT have the square set-up…the two rear wheels will have different part nbrs (and size) versus the two front wheels. So select the correct part number for which wheel you need. You can also shop by the BMW wheel style number (remember again, if you have staggered wheels, you’ll need to shop according to the correct width & offset wheel you need). If you are not familiar with any online part database sites…here’s two really popular sites:

Great. So you needed to replace one of the rear wheels. Keep a lookout on that wheel in case the tire begins to bubble…which means that it was damaged and will need to be replaced.

I am expecting my Style 373 to arrive today. It seems that it is pothole season and there is a huge demand for front wheels. Fortunately you are looking for a rear wheel, which seems to be more readily available.
I too tried to find a new front rim through online vendors, but all were on back order for a considerable time. I ended up going with a refurbished rim, which I found on Ebay. You can do a search as "Q" mentioned for the Style 351 or the P/N. The vendor I chose, does have a guarantee, as most reputable vendors do. Nonetheless, I will have my shop inspect the rim before it goes to powder coating. My tire also has a side bubble from the impact. It too is on back order, expected in April now via Tire Rack. I hope you have better success in locating everything than I did. I do have a claim filed with my DOT. It seems they will reimburse me for most if not all the repairs. This was initially an experiment to file a claim, but it seems to be having success so far! L |

I have a front 351 wheel that I bought refurbished and was never taken out of the box because I bought it to replace a slightly bent front wheel but then bought a complete used set of aftermarket wheels. Make me an offer. You'd pay for shipping. I'm in the Phila area.

Interesting fact about the 19” 351 Wheel Style…if you decode the car’s VIN and it lists option code S2NBA…it means the car came with a square set of (4) wheels that are 8.5”x19” w/33mm offset . If the decoded VIN lists option code S2NDA…then the car came with the staggered setup where the rear wheels are 9”x19” w/44mm offset.
Only mentioning this in case someone was thinking incorrectly like I was at one point in time. I had assumed that all 5 & 6 series that had 351 wheel styles were staggered…and any square setup was done so by the owner using “front” 351 wheels in the rear. But then I noticed that there were two option codes listed (2NB & 2ND)…and that you could actually get a square setup from the factory.
