Anyone get the Dinan tune in 650 gc ? Worth it ? Or do I just suck it up & get m6 gc

Dinan named a tune after a South American country? Anyway, there is a fair amount of discussion here about tuning the 650 N63TU engine. One person is particularly interested, and just within the last couple days posted two FaceBook pages dedicated to N63 performance upgrades. Read through some posts below your own or do a few searches in the forum. Bottom line is you have more choices than just Dinan or an M6.

Dinan sucks hardcore. Way over priced and underpowered. Custom tune if you want to beat m6s. Bm3 or heatsync beta are good choices. The n63tu can put down 600-650+ hp no problem.

I run bm3 stage 2 with methanol injection. There is also heatsync beta who does good work. All n63tu tunes are remote, no need to remove the dme and send it in. Bm3 is nice as you just need an enet cable and a phone. I can flash, change maps, and log all on my iPhone. Most stage 2 tunes require catless downpipes so if your not looking to swap those just run a stage 1 tune. Stage 2 will get you to 600 crank hp for most tuners. For your 550i you could choose a single map or buy the map pack.
