I'm working from home and bummed that coffee shops are still takeout only. That's about it.

Brazil is a pretty great country, and I stand by that. Things are not too bad over here right now, I think the virus could have been dealt better but in a country with such a massive population, I knew there was bound to be many deaths. I don't like where COVID is going, I think things could have been better planned, and a lockdown early on could have diluted the number of cases but we have had a very good recovery rate and the economy is not too bad.

But the country is doing fine, and many good things and lessons are coming out of this.

Yep, I just read the local and Atlanta papers and occasionally catch the local news on tv. If something catches my interest I will do a little more reading and research. I just don't understand why you want to watch fox piss and moan about cnn and vice versa 24 hours a day.

No speed limit enforcement. Well on public streets at least, some parts of my drive are regulated by different entities that still enforce stuff.

But in city driving, the cops don't care. I have been fortunate to work at home every other week. I do four day weeks, three days this week. Today is my Friday and it is more than halfway over.

Look at some of the posts on this board w/r/t to COVID. That should answer the question what the hell is going on here and why the country is on fire.

It is nice, get a lot of farming done on WoW classic. Summer Steam sale is making focusing on work difficult though.

I have the flexibility to work anywhere but I personally enjoy being on job site to see what the heck is actually going on that numbers on a screen can't always accurate reflect. Also it shows poor leadership if your hinding at home while the people on the ground doesn't have that luxury.

I'm working from home for the first time in my life and yes, it's very nice. Get to see my kids more and be in the comfort of my own home all day. Not to mention saving a fortune on gas and car expenses. It's been eye opening.

I'm looking forward to the fact that it'll be less taboo to WFH. If I want to go to the somewhere else for a week just for shits but take only a few of the days off, it'll be way easier to leave during an off-peak travel time.
