S63 engine revisions

Watching a vid today a guy mentioned there were some s63 engine revisions, 2012 original for m6/5, 2014 and then 2016. Anyone have details? I see the turbos were updated in 2016 to honeywell, any ideas what else got changed?

There were differences between when the engine was in the E70 X5M and E71 X6M and when it got put into the M5 and M6 as per this:

https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=548345

Then the F90 debuted some other changes as per this:

https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1510506

However for the F10 M5 and F06/12/13 M6 I don't believe there were any changes that actually make a difference.

The wastegate is updated in lci f10 m5 (not sure about m6). Pre-lci are mechanical wastegates but the updated ones are electronic. I believe it makes a difference when it comes to tuning potential.
