Wheel fitment on 640i Coupe RWD
Hi All,
Are these wheel specs too off to fit my car? 2016 640i Coupe RWD. Bolt Pattern: 5x120 Front Wheel Size: 20" x 9.5" Rear Wheel Size: 20" x 10.5" Front Offset: +22mm Rear Offset: +34mm Bore Size: 72 Front: https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...9-5&offset2=22 Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 1.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 23.7mm more than before. Rear: https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...0-5&offset2=34 Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 9mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 29.1mm more than before. Seems like quite a bit off to fit? These were originally designed for the F80 M4. |

Hi,
my current set up is 8,5” et.35 front and 9,5” et.37 rear and expecially front is a bit shy. Your rims are maybe a bit aggressive but with those slightly narrow tires (compared to alloys) the fitment seems to be near to perfect IF you are after the perfect looks. Also that original rear (9” et.44) is really shy, outer rim could be much outer, + 10-15 mm. would not hurt, I’m not sure would that 29 mm. hurt either IF the tire is to be a staggered one.
