Malibu Canyon

Just got to The Rock Store in the Malibu Canyon after a VERY enjoyable drive on my new Michelin A/S 3+ tires. What a difference! The car is transformed.

Think of how much more the car would have been transformed if they were the Pilot Sport 4S tires instead

It’s a reflector. What year is your car? Mine is 2016. I see you have a diesel. I wish they offered that to us yanks!

Its a late 14 model. Ac Schnitzer tuned benched at 380hp and 720nm. I guess the reflector is for US only versions.

Just an FYI...the amber front side reflector is a requirement by the US DOT...some countries require it and other countries may not have them (like Norway)....which is probably why gjohnsen is unfamiliar with it.

And many owners in the US replace them with body paint colored ones ... or just blacken them out....especially the reflectors on the rear bumper

AS/3+ is all season, really??

The Michelin AS/3+ tyres are not known to be very good in winter, even light snow. I am bit surprised they are marketed as all-season. I certainly wouldn't put them on in the UK

Your car looks stunning, enjoy your ride

Many high performance tires that are considered 'all-season' lack the performance attributes of true high performance tires and also lack the ability to deal with winter conditions. It is a marketing tool that has many consumers confused and are putting many drivers in unsafe driving conditions during cold, snowy months.

Like I have said before, buy a set of true high performance summer tires, like the outstanding Michelin Pilot 4S Sports, and a set of winter tires, so you will get the most out of your expensive, high performance 650 GC.

Yes, they are marketed as very good all-season tires. I don't have personal feedback yet in the snow. Others say it has been good in the snow. But so far, I can tell you that from 40-90 degrees F and in the rain, they are great.

I don't believe these tires are sold in Europe at all. The tires has to be marked with a 3PMSF symbol to be used in snowy condition in the EU.

Is it common to have dedicated winter tires in the UK? I had the impression the brits took the train the one or two days a year, when its snowing Maybe this tire would have been an excellent choice for the UK road conditions.

Just have to wait for brexit before its legal
