oil filter cover with drain

Will the oil filter cover with the drain fit the M6 S63 engines? Pn 11427521353. The mess created when you remove the oil filter cover is a pain in wherever it can hurt (PC).
I just did my oil change but forgot to measure whether there is enough clearance between the cover and the chassis brace (skid plate). My concern would be that it might protrude beyond the plate and be vulnerable to damage.

I use the weistec billet with drain and the aga tools clean oil change oil pan drain along with the simple drain adapter on all 3 of my cars.
