If you didnt have a 6 then....?

what would you have?

for me

CLS

or

Panamera

And the reason i chose the 6 over each was the interior, both style and the lack of an official 5th seat i get in the GC (not that i have ever used it, or even could without that 5th person being vertically challenged)

Panamera. The prices are just too high so I end up with a M6

For me it would be an RS5 or RS3 if we are looking outside BMW. Panamera would be on the list with the right spec!

watched a UK car program last night, it mentioned the S7 and its ability to cut cylinders around town, nice option to have

I came from a 2013 Panamera GTS to my current 2017 Alpina B6 GC.

I love the new Panamera, and I'm waiting for the GTS to come out. That would be the alternative to the Alpina B6 GC.

The V6 turbo Panameras just don't cut it for me though. Their power delivery is weird for such a heavy big car. Very little low-end torque. The Panamera needs the muscle of a V8.

The soon to be released Taycan, all-electric Porsche, will be interesting. Plenty of torque expected with that car!

If money was unlimited; a tesla s 100 with ludicrous mode. Albeit I find the interior and to a lessor extent the exterior rather bland.

Tbh I would only buy used or nearly new so i did look at a tesla s for a bit more money than my 6 (admittedly not the one i mentioned above) but even the discontinued 75kwh version out of the box is 4.2 secs to 60 so i personally don't see this as a supercar range.

If I lived in/around London and needed to commute in, it would have worked out cheaper for the base tesla due to the congestion charge.

G30 M550i. Granted, that's if I could afford one, which I couldn't. But someday, just like I said about the F06!

Alpina B5 Touring, I'd be ok with F11 or G31. F82 6MT Comp Pack would be fine too.

A CL65 wouldn't be all that bad either. I need a more modern V12 to match the other one...

Depends on whether your question is whether I can afford it or not. Aston Martin DB9 Volante or Maserati Gran Tourismo convertible. Metal roofs are a design defect to me.

Since I no longer have my 650 I think I'm going to give the Cadillac CTS-V a shot. The interior isn't quite up to BMW standards, but the seats coddle me better, and that sound the supercharged engine makes coming out of the exhaust. It's the only domestic car worth having.
