Here is what I think you are referring to and I believe you are showing us the right side?
Realoem.com is great for looking up parts. As for purchasing parts, getbmwparts.com is cheap and safe. Cover, column B, door, front left 1 51334828809 ENDED 03 Cover, column B, door, front right 1 51334828810 |

WOW...the part database has this part discontinued...and doesn't give a replacement or superceded part number!
Geez...the production just ended in Oct 2018 of the last 6 series (sorry, I don't consider the 6GT as a 6 series...to me it's just a rebadged 5GT...which was probably just a way to kick it out of the 5 series nomenclature line-up. If you can't find a new part that is left-over in the new part inventory...you may be able to find a used one. And if that fails...you may need to see if it can be fixed/repainted/etc:. It appears to be secured to the body of the car with a hex screw(s) (#14 in the diagram below)...so again, you may have to inquire into having it repaired/repainted. {see #3 if you click the link below...then scroll down to the part number index below the diagram} http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/F0...for_door_front

Here's instructions found on the newtis.info website as to how to remove this cover: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...strip/JMyNqRR4
Looks like there are two hex screws (see #1 in pic below) that secures the cover at the bottom (once the cover {#17 in the diagram pictured in my post above} has been removed)..click direct link to the TIS website above to see all the other pics and instructions on how to access & remove...then reinstall the B-pillar cover: BTW...I hope you keep us updated on this. It would be interesting to know the direction you went and how it turned out since it's such a visible part that can easily need restoration in the future...and since the part is already discontinued thru BMW...the collective forum would greatly benefit from knowing what the possibilities are in regards to repair to this part. So if you can...don't leave us all hanging...and turn this thread into a mystery.
