Wheel/Tire Question: How many can you load inside an f06?

If one was to pickup 4 new or used 20" or 19" wheels w/tires mounted on them...can you stuff all 4 inside the car utilizing the trunk and rear seats? Or are the wheels w/tires mounted too big to fit and another vehicle is required to haul them home?

Has anyone experienced this and have any insight?

You looking for a dedicated winter tire set-up, too? That's what I'm scouting around for.

It looks like two wheels w/tires mounted might fit in the trunk...but I'm not sure if 20" wheels w/tires mounted will fit in the rear seats (or go through the rear doors). These f06s just don't have the back room space of the LWB e38 (LOL).

Hmm, I wonder if it will work if you lower the rear seat backs...you could possibly push at least three mounted 20" wheels in...then wrangle the 4th wheel on top of the others.

Hopefully someone that has done this will chime in and give us hope. Come'on people...let's keep hope alive. Help us f06 noobs with this logistical question.

When I sold my stock 20" wheels with tires mounted, a gentleman came in a grancoupe and was able to fit all 4 after folding the rear seats down.

F13 seats don't fold, so I was only able to fit 1 in my trunk

I have carried 4 20” tires and 4 20” inch wheels to the shop to be mounted and carried my 4 mounted stock 19’ back... I used to be good at Tetris... carried over into real life... who knew...

Fold down seats:
1 285/30/20 in trunk
1 245/35/20 in trunk
1 20x 10.5 standing straight up behind driver
Insert 1 245/35/20 from passenger standing straight up behind driver
Lay 1 285/30/20 down behind passenger
Lay 1 20x9 on top of 285/30/20
Front passenger floor angled 20x9
20x10.5 on front seat
Insert cushions and blanket padding between windows,
Drive very carefully as you won’t be able to see anything out of rear view and passenger side mirror.
Can it be done? Yes
It is safe and smartest thing... not really

Thank you both very much for this info. I would hate to drive 2 - 3 hours to pick up a set of wheels/tires and have to leave one or more behind...then have to make a 2nd trip to pick up the ones left behind.

...you're going to swap the style 373s? I await to see your mods.

I was able to fit 3 stock 351 wheels and tires in the back seat and one in the truck on my F10 550. They should fit - just make sure you bring some trash bags with you as tires are really dirty.

I think you could fit two in the back seat, one in the trunk and one in the front seat.
