Coding new F06
Anyone know if coding can be done on the newest models? I’ve just tried coding with bimmer code and vgate icar and the active sound hasn’t changed. In fact, I think it may have disappeared altogether!
Help would be appreciated Last edited by Durb992000; 09-15-2018 at 01:54 PM.. |

this looks a good setup to try on a laptop, ive got the VM for Esys only. This looks to have some more bits n bobs @durb if you still using the mobile apps give this a go This is the VM i have (remove the space between b mw, link greys out for some reason) www.b mwcoding.online/software-downloads/esys/

Thanks Mark. I emailed bimmercode support and had a reply today stating that BMW have stopped the coding of ASD on newer models but this contradicts your statement on doing it on a newish 6er using e-sys. I wonder if e-sys is the only way to go.
Thanks for the link, I’ve looked through it and it looks far less user friendly than the bimmercode app!! Not sure where to start but I’ll have to read the link in more detail Thanks again |

TBH its scary to look at, but theres a few youtube vids that make it pretty simple. worst bit is creating the VM if you have little computer experience
download VMware free (14 day trial, but plenty of keys out there)

No issues with bimmercode and very easy to use. Just be mindful that if you want to change the ASD then bimmercode can’t do it. You’d need ESYS or similar for that it seems
