Yup, and if you click on the Carfax details, there is a link that takes you to the True360 report for the car. Apparently the driver side door and rear quarter panel have been replaced. I'm sure there's a buyer out there, but I'd think long and hard before getting on that.

One owner with two new tires replaced at 4,xxx miles, crashed into what looks like a parked vehicle at 13,xxx miles, this is the classic lease-treated vehicle with now a branded title. I'd consider purchasing only if you plan on keeping this car for atleast 7+years because by then they'll all be sub~20k cars as it is with the previous e63 v10 m6. If not then RUN!

1. One accident, no airbag deployed, per inspection it looks like a it sideswiped a parked car, replaced door and left quarter panel.
2. Truedamage 360 report states, "These issues are not structural in nature and are considered to be purely cosmetic." 3. Title is not branded 4. Its discounted because of the accident, so you go in cheap and go out just as cheap.

I bought my car from them (OffLease Broward).
Let me know if you're interested, I can put you in contact with my guy there, he would be able to send you a ton more pictures, do a video, etc. And there are 2 or 3 BMW-certified shops near the area, you could (and should) make an appointment and have the car inspected before making your purchase. Again, let me know if you want those contacts as well. Good luck! - Leo. |

I picked up my M6 this past February and I too was also looking at that 16 for sale. Ended up going with a 15 M6 GC with a similar rear accident to this current vehicle listed however no structural damage reported for resale and peace of mind. Paid 37,XXX out the door with 47k miles. I can't even begin to tell you how much money I've lost over the years when trading in/privately selling and they use information like previous damage history as a nidus of negotiation and thats just with accident history of carfax I could only image what they would say when they see a structural damage report. If this is a car you plan on keeping for a bit then when it comes time to sell the impact the report has will be minimal. But to hold onto if for a year or two might cost you. I have purchased 4 cars from Off Lease. Still have Car #1; Car 2 cost me 43k, was flood totaled after 1.5 years, insurance gave me 3k more than I paid for the Car. Broke even on Car 4 very short term, kept Car 5 (2013 M6), lost about $20k in value in 3 years. I want a convertible and this one looks priced right. I think the claim of frame damage is actually false, its "self-reported" 1.5 years after accident. Terue 360 reprot says "No Damage Found." Factory warranty until August 2020, may just pay to extend.
Of course, if they won't give me what I want for my M4, forget it.

Its interesting to hear your viewpoint on the comparison between the M6 and M4. I had the M3 for a few months, much lighter and slightly more nimble especially for NYC streets. I learnt how to powerslide down an entire city block because the car just wants to break traction. The M6, is an entirely different animal beginning with its weight which makes it moreso of a highway hawk than for the street. Just as easy to break the rear, however when you do so be prepared because she still scares the hell out of me with traction control completely off. |

I went from e93 M3 to F13 M6 to F83 M4. I liked the M6 best. Seat was more comfortable, power was on demand, interior was nicer, screen was larger, b&o sounded better. If I want nimble I can always drive my 997.1 six speed

Heck, if you wanted to speak performance among all cars in general, I'd jump into my Aventador SV, its nimble as hell . I was asking about your overall performance experience between the M's you've previously owned. Interior wise, thats all to be expected the higher you go up BMW's ladder, but personally I'm not a fan of the M6 seats. Im a size 32 waist and can't get a seat position tight enough to bolster me in like the M3 or pretty much any track level car I've owned. |

Not sure if you were interested in the warranty, LCI, mileage or prior history but i found this low mileage, decently optioned, 1-owner, out of warranty M6 convertible recently on eBay, might be worth the look. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-BMW-M6...wAAOSwufhe5aSV Last edited by m6NYC; 06-28-2020 at 09:14 AM.. |
