I can't tell if it pulls any harder. Probably due to the tune (Stage 1) or my butt dyno is just not sensitive enough. Might be easier to tell if the car was stock. I can hear the intake induction noise & the turbo spool is more noticeable.
Catless DP & Stage 2 will be next month....

I didn't even know you had this progressive build on the forums. Very useful information you've placed in here so far. Excited to see what's yet to come!

Nice to see super & hyper cars taken on the track. I prefer to see these vehicles in motion vs stationary...

Burger Tuning Pedal Tuner
https://www.burgertuning.com/products/bms-pedal-tuner

Though this device does not add horsepower, its a great mod to have.
Had Sprint Booster V2 (E60 M5) which is also a great device. SB costs more & you have to make sure you get a model that works for your car.
BMS has 1 device that supports all BMW models & its $100 cheaper vs SB V3. I do prefer the small size of SB.

Stage 1 tune > Comfort mode > Stage 3 red:
pressing the pedal down 1/4 of an inch feels like Sport + w/ the pedal half way down.

Torx 30 required to remove the pedal for installation.

Plug that goes to the pedal only attaches 1 way.
The other plug can go in both ways & w/ my luck I got it wrong the 1st try.
The controller will not light up & you get a ton or errors in iDrive !@#$%^
You will need a scan tool or ISTA-D (what I used) to clear the errors.

Installation & calibration video

Still out of stock so a product link doesn't exist.

Here is another company that sells exhaust tips. All carbon fiber though.

Black Straight cut: https://xxiituning.com/collections/b...e-exhaust-tips
Steele Straight cut: https://xxiituning.com/collections/b...e-exhaust-tips
Burnt|Blue Straight cut: https://xxiituning.com/collections/b...e-exhaust-tips

Angle cut: https://xxiituning.com/collections/b...29257528279104

Haven't purchased anything from them. Ask for specific specs & post here if you want.

Specs:
Inner diameter of the inlet (this is very important to get right) - Ask for it in MM not inches. Should be 69MM to 70MM

I used a metric ruler instead of a caliper & mine was 68MM outer diameter. You can also see how the piping shrinks & curves (terrible design) so you can only push the tip back up to a certain point.

Length of the tips - this varies depending on how it clamps. This is also important so you don't end up with tips that stick out too much

Outer diameter - 101MM = 4". Mine is 89MM or 3.5". This becomes important on certain types of diffusers.

Thanks for the xxii link.

I currently have the straight cut rolled end stainless steel exhaust tips in black chrome from Bimmian.

Now I'm kind of contemplating on the slant cut rolled end stainless steel exhaust tips that xxii has. These almost seem to be same as the BMS tips I had on M4 I used to own. xxii told me the inlet diameter is 70mm, outer diameter 97mm, length 142mm. Inlet diameter seems to be right but I'm kind of worried about the shrinking diameter and curve of M6 exhaust pipe...as you have pointed out. Outer diameter of 97mm seem oversized for my diffuser as well... I'll have to do some measuring...

Here you go. Not from where I purchased mine but it looks identical to what I have. I used blue Loctite on the threads though not sure if it was necessary.

Thanks for mentioning Bimmian. I didn't know they sell those tips.

The slant cut tip looks good & seems to be a slip on version like OEM. I share the same OD size concerns if you have a particular type of diffuser.

Mine are:
136MM length

69MM ID

89MM OD.

(69MM inner diameter tips & 68MM outer diameter muffler tips) barely has any gap.

With my diffuser, the most I can go is 91MM OD otherwise I would have to cut this area. The tip is about 4-5MM away from touching.

The left tip is pushed all the way back so an extra 7MM would still look good. Wont stick out too much.

As always, your car is lookin' sick and great attention to detail, my friend! I also plan to lightly tint my tail lights as it's a bit too much red for me.

Appreciate that
Your tail lights are in much better condition than mine. Yours look like its made of glass.
A few things to consider. Difficult to get that super smooth finish with vinyl tint. Doesn't take much to scratch it. I even soaked the felt of the squeegee in distilled water & baby shampoo to reduce friction.
A few coats of ceramic coating will definitely help put the gloss back.

Sorry, I'm hanging on to it. I just had it painted Silverstone II.

Can you post pics of the back side of your cover? It sounds like you are missing these rubber inserts.

That is very possible.
I'll take a look at it this weekend and see if that's the case. Easy fix if it is!

Thanks, man.
