Gents,

My F06 has M-Performance by Akrapovic, VRSF Catless downpipes and ESS stage 2 tune.

Car is running daily use and with no issues at all.

Recently i tried replacing the OEM filters with the BMC.

2 days after, I floored the car and suddenly at speed 220km/h rpm +6k I got sudden cut in power and drivetrain message. Switched off/on the car and the drive train disappeared and car went back to its regular performance.

Again after 2 days i got the same drivetrain message at exactly same speed and high rpm.

Car now is running perfectly fine at all rpms. The moment i reach 220 it cutts off.

Any reason for that? I returned back the OEM thinking might be because of the BMC

It might need a new tune to the new BMC. I know the problem from another car. Performance cold air intake and at high speed an rpm the same loss of speed and CEL.

The same happened with Eventuri intakes as well correct? At even lower speeds such as 85 mph (140 kph)

It only happens on your aggressive file right?

Yes same thing on Eventuri. Cant tell if its related to the filters BMC/Eventuri.
This is only on aggressive file.

Same exact issue, but with a 640i and BM3 stage 1 tune. After cycle, car is fine. Usually happens in sport mode/aggressive driving.

Definitely noticed it after the tune. Should I contact BM3?
