FIXED: BMW F13 640D vibration ONLY during idle speed

Hi guys..

have anybody experienced something similiar? I have 640d 2014, and I can notice quite annoying vibration inside the cabin everywhere at idle speed. Everything in cabin is resonating.

When I am going at least 1 000rpm everything is very fine.

I tried to raise idle speed +40, it helped, but not so much...

I had E92 330D and it was less vibrating then this 6 er... It is 6 series !! this cant be normal !

Can't help with a fix but I had this also. Was surprised at how bad it was compared to my previous 318d! On top of that I also had a vibration at all speeds which meant in the end giving the car back to the dealer.

thats unbelieveable... i can see differences:

1] vibrations are really strong...that your head is in pain, when engine is cold
2] vibrations are much lower when transmission is on R or P

i am suspecting the mount of Transmisison or the hydrounit

Had exactly the same problem on idle , (droning vibrations )went in today after a day of investigation, it's a build up of carbon I think he said in the manifolds but I'm not sure, that needs removing .(de-coking)
Becoming more common on low emission Bmw diesels apparently
Bmw approved the work it's a two day strip down job, tech said its deffo the problem.
Will update you next week ,

They Bmw techs diagnosed the problem on my car 640d as ...carbon build on I think they said manifold.
I as in me am not personally stripping anything,
They Bmw techs think ( deffo) they have found the problem, and are stripping and using an old phrase ...decoking the engine next week , it ( the work) is estimated to take 2 days.
That's what the master tech told me , I hope that is clearer
Apparently this problem( vibration) is becoming more common on low emission Diesel engines
That's all I can tell you my Bmw friend ?

Is it fixed with the cleaning of carbon build up? Does it vibrate any more?

i strongly believe it has nothing to do with carbon in intake... i am suspecting not balanced crankshaft from factory.. - so not fixable...
