Wheels fitment for 2013 640i Gran Coupe

I’m thinking about picking up some wheels from another member, and I want to verify the fitment before purchasing. Can someone please help me figure out if this set will fit my car? Here are the specs. Thank you very much!

Rear: 21" x 11" +30 offset
Front: 21" x 9.5" +26 offset

I would say no just based on the rear. Throwing it into an offset calculator: 11mm less inner clearance and extends an extra 39mm.

The OEM wheels and offsets are:
F: 8.5Jx20 Offset 33
R: 9Jx20 Offset 44

The online offset calculator I use

https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=50mm&sr=0mm

shows the reduction in rear wheel offset to 26 will maintain the same clearance on the suspension side. I don't know whether you will have enough fender room on the outside, which also depends on the tire. I think you'd need something like 295 x 25 x 21.

Use the offset calculator to compare what you are looking at to the M5 343 10” rear wheel. That is the maximum offset the 640 and 650 can handle. It is perfectly flush with a 295/30/20 tire. I’m not sure how much more inner clearance is available, but there is zero rubbing with that set up.

The wheels imaviet is looking at are 21's, not 20's.

Its all too aggressive. Each wheel is half inch too wide and 10mm too far. That's assuming you don't have a high shouldered tire like the PSS

I'd say hard pass unless you're willing to put time and effort into getting things right. You probably won't be able to just slap on tires and ride easily

It’s as close as he can get to an answer. Probably no difference at all between a 20 and 21” wheel. The tires will be the same height. OP- use the offset calculator to compare to the M5 343 rear wheel.

M5 343 wheels are 20" x 9.0" ET 32 in the front and 20" x 10" ET 34 in the rear.

Forget it. The rear won’t fit.
